Thanksgiving Point Tulip Festival 4-25-08
Thanksgiving Garden covers 55 acres and has a variety of garden themes: The Creek Garden, the Monet Garden, the Rose Garden, the Fragrance Garden, the Secret Garden, the Italian Garden, the Butterfly Garden, the Parterre Garden, the Vista Garden, Waterfall Garden, and the Children’s Discovery Garden. Every fall, volunteers and employees of Thanksgiving Point plant over 250,000 tulip bulbs. (I thought I planted a lot in my little garden, in Draper!) There are 95 different varieties of tulips. The Tulip Festival is quite the sight!
