A relaxing September Weekend 9-13-08

The weekend didn't quite start like I thought. I got the stomach bug on Thursday morning while at work, and end up going home. I'm afraid I'm going to be nicknamed the puking employee, because this is the second time this year that I've end up going home sick with the stomach bug. This is things elementary kids get (at least that's how I was), not employees in their 30's.

I rested all day Thursday and by Friday I felt better, but I still didn't have much of an appetite, so I just kind of hung around the house, did some cleaning and got all my ironing done.

While Dan took his insurance test on Saturday (congratulations on passing Dan), Cassie, Andrew, my mom and me, rode Trax to Salt Lake. We had lunch at The Lion House Pantry and walked around Temple Square. It was a great weekend and the weather was perfect to be outside and enjoy the beauty of Temple Square.

Blowing bubbles with Andrew on the deck.

Cassie and Andrew. Andrew was very quiet on our ride to Salt Lake on Trax. I guess he wasn't quite sure what to think.

Eating fruit snacks at The Lion House Pantry. He preferred fruit snacks over lunch.

One of the many beautiful gardens on temple square.

Andrew decided it was fun to pull down the cover of the stroller, I guess it was his hiding place.
